The best of Sherry’s unique, creative, and fun wedding photos! Looking for a wedding photographer in DFW, Dallas, NJ, NJ… or anywhere really, lol? I’m your girl!
Janel and Jimmy just wanted a simple wedding that would reflect the two of them. She wore a tea length vintage inspired dress with bright blue shoes and he wore matching blue Adidas sneakers. The ceremony and reception took place at their local fire house — the site of their first ever date — which also turned out to be a fabulous spot for their formal portraits. All of the decor and elements were either borrowed, recycled or DIYed to fit a very tight budget. The result was a quirky, personalized celebration that fit the fun couple to a T!
Their firehouse wedding was so cool that it was even featured in Firehouse Wedding on Poptastic Bride!
Today they celebrate the 3 year anniversary of their amazing firehouse wedding. Here are a few of my favs:
Inna and Rodney are just adorable. They married in a small ceremony about a year ago, but wanted to have a big bash with all of their friends and family. See, it took some coordination… Inna is from the Ukraine so they needed to plan an Dallas-based event with a guest list from far and wide.
The wedding was held on a stormy Friday night. So stormy that the POWER WENT OUT just as Inna was about to walk down the aisle. Yikes! No problem though, I had my LED lights and guests used their iPhones to illuminate the aisle. Inna and Rodney took it all in stride. After about an hour, and a cocktail that thankfully didn’t need power, the lights came on, the band began to play, and the party began!
Here are a few of my favs from Inna and Rodney’s Empire Room Dallas wedding:
This Halloween themed wedding was just EPIC! The details are to die for!! Here are my favs from Julie and Kael’s Hocus Pocus / Halloween themed wedding!
Lisa and Kumar are two of the kindest and most loving people that I’ve ever met. Their wedding was full of sentiment and emotion. The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Teresa’s in Summit, NJ. From there we went to the Reeves-Reed Arboretum for pics… it’s one of my favorite places for photos! The reception took place at the Bridgewater Manor. Here are a few favs from the day… including a few dedicated to the little Lisa-Kumar (yep, Lisa’s pregnant!!).
