Hi, I'm Sherry Sutton!

I'm a marketing mentor, small business cheerleader, best selling author, TEDx speaker, photographer, mom, yogini, and recovery warrior. I work with badass small businesses owners who are ready for some serious growth but aren’t sure where to find new customers.

My company donates 5% of our revenue to non-profits worldwide that support women's entrepreneurship and economic independence.

More about me...

I'm Super Nerdy

I’m a bit of a nerd when it comes to learning (and proud of it!). I have a Master’s in Leadership and Communications from Seton Hall University, an Executive MBA from Rutgers University, and a Digital Marketing Certification from Yale University.

I LOVE Speaking

I've been on stage most of my life so speaking comes naturally to me. My favorite topics are personal branding, beating imposter syndrome, creating authentic connections, and more.

My TEDx Talk: How Facebook Saved My Life

And Started An Authenticity Revolution

In my first TEDx, I unveil the profound impact of vulnerability and authentic sharing in our perfection-obsessed, yet deeply broken society.

In the talk I recount the pivotal moment in my life when a Facebook post became the catalyst for my journey from addiction to sobriety.

Delving into the societal epidemic of loneliness and addiction, I expose the masks we wear to fit in and explore the liberating power of shedding them.

I challenge the status quo, encouraging us all to embark on a journey of embracing authenticity for true connection and, ultimately, saving lives.

Join me in this transformative exploration of the beautiful mess effect and the courage it takes to live authentically in a world that often demands conformity.

Me by the Numbers

3.

Age my mom started teaching me to be a musical theatre singer. When other kids wanted to be Madonna, I wanted to be Julie Andrews.

5.

The number of years I spent as a part-time model and stylist for Anthropologie.

13.

The age of my amazing son, Walden.

13.

The number of weeks I solo backpacked around Europe during a semester off from college.

32.

The number of years I've studied yoga philosophy. I even studied at the same Ashram featured in Eat, Pray, Love (love me some Elizabeth Gilbert!). I'm a certified yoga teacher, and practice 3-4 days a week.

44.

The number of years it took me to find the love of my life, Billy Pye.

The number of hours I've been sober (as of the writing of this page). It's my proudest accomplishment.

1,000,000,000,000.

The number of mistakes I've made that have helped me become the badass woman I am today.

My Core Desired Feelings

I'm OBSESSED with Danielle LaPorte's Core Desired Feelings (so much so that I now guide women through discovering them… click here for classes). How you feel each day is a choice. By stating your feeling intentions, you create a life that is soul-focused.

Every decision you make is put to the following test: Will I feel my Core Desired Feelings if I do this?

Here are mine:

  • FUNKY

  • EXPANSIVE

  • IN FLOW

  • CONNECTED

  • PURPOSEFUL

Three Things that (Almost) No One Knows About Me

I'd really like...

to be a vegan. But then there's bacon. I mean …
it's BACON!

I became...

a badass entrepreneur at age 6, selling advertising for the local theatre where my dad was the president and my mom the star actress. (I kept it going for 10 years!)

My dream is to...

live an RV life. I’d work from my vintage camper while travelling around the world.

Non-Profits I Love

Food for Life Vrindavan (FFLV)

FFLV is a charitable organization in Vrindavan, India. They run schools that provide free education, meals, skill training, and medical help to over 1500 girls in Vrindavan, India. Their work includes free meal distribution and a sewing and embroidery center (providing training & employment opportunity for village women). During my visits I took photos that the organization uses for their marketing and promotion.

BlinkNow

Founded by Maggie Doyne at age 19, BlinkNow supports the Kopila Valley Children's Home & School in Surkhet, Nepal. I partnered with CaseLogic to provide backpacks for all the students at the school. Over my multiple trips I took a ton of photos that the organization uses in their fundraising.

Since 2022, we are donating 5% of our revenues to support their amazing Women's Center.
